I am Anna J. Frandsen, a social documentary photographer and writer dedicated to telling real stories that inspire change, raise awareness, and amplify the voices of those often unheard.

My work is centered on documenting the resilience of women who have faced trauma, injustice, and adversity, exploring how their experiences are shaped by the unique cultural contexts in which they live.

By capturing stories across different countries and communities, I aim to highlight both the shared struggles and the diverse challenges that arise from cultural, social, and economic differences. With a background in political science focused on humanitarian issues and graduate coursework in Latin American studies, my work has long been driven by a passion for understanding and documenting the lives of marginalized communities.
